2027 DC Comedy Festival — Submissions

The DC Comedy Festival returns April 7–10, 2027, with shows at various venues throughout Washington, DC, and surrounding Maryland and Virginia communities!

Thank you to everyone who came out to our 2026 shows. To the audiences, comedians, producers, venues, volunteers, and staff who helped make the festival possible—we appreciate you. Your support keeps independent comedy growing, and we hope to make the 2027 festival even better.

We’re inviting comedians and independent show producers to be part of the next festival. Help us showcase the talent, creativity, and variety that make our comedy community special.

Comedian Submissions

Please include your performer name, contact information, home city, a short bio, a recent performance video, and your availability during April 7–10, 2027. Make sure your video link is accessible before submitting.

Submit Your Independently Produced Show

Producing your own show in the city and interested in participating in the festival? Once you have secured your venue and date, email your show information to [email protected].

Please include:

• Show title and a brief description.
• Venue name and full address.
• Confirmed show date, showtime, and doors time.
• Producer’s name, email, and phone number.
• Confirmed or proposed lineup, clearly identified.
• Venue capacity and planned ticket prices.
• Ticket link, promotional artwork, and social media links, if available.

Submitted shows should take place during April 7–10, 2027. Our team will review the information and follow up about potential festival participation.
